Destination Wedding planning 3

Well, Alisha and I have been working hard on putting together this great little destination wedding package for Diana and William.    We have booked a car rental, restaurants, a beautiful executive hotel room in a downtown hotel that will have an unobstructed view of the fireworks on New Year’s Eve, cake, flowers, photographer and me! to officiate their wedding during their stay.  All in all, this has been a blast and reminds me of the days when I was a concierge at the Four Seasons Olympic Hotel which is now the Hotel Fairmount.  I loved my job then and I’m loving this job now!!!

Pictures to follow…

Destination Wedding Planning 2

So we got Diana and William booked into the Warwick Hotel on one of the new Executive floors (17th flr) for the duration of their stay but most importantly an unobstructed view of the Space Needle on New Year’s Eve when they will  blast off a bunch of fireworks!   What a celebration!!!

Just to let you know about what’s going on with this hotel…the Warwick Seattle just released four brand new floors to their property.  And they start at the 14th flr and go up to the 17th flr.  That’s where Diana and William are going to be.   It’s going to be divine!

Destination Wedding Planning

I got an inquiry from a woman in California the other day about her and her fiance William who wanted to come to Seattle to get married.  What began as a simple request has now turned into a really fun little event with some travel planning involved.  I am so excited to say that I was able to bring in my client and friend, Alisha Wilkerson (Events By Alisha) who is taking care of all the travel details (hotel, car, dinner reservations, car rental, etc.).  I am providing my officiating services, a clutch rose (pink) bouquet for the bride, and  my photographer, Peter.  Together, we are creating a destination wedding for Diana and William and I’m thrilled.

To be continued…

Outdoor garden wedding on the Olympic Penninsula

Last summer I had the pleasure of officiating a wedding in a lovely outdoor garden called The Cutting Garden in Sequim (http://www.cuttinggarden.com/weddings.html), which is located on the Olympic Penninsula.   It was a long drive — including a ferry — but when I arrived I was really inspired by the beauty of the grounds.

The Cutting Garden boasts thousands of flowers, which make a gorgeous background for your event and especially your wedding album.  They also have a big house that includes a kitchen and an upstairs room for you and your bridesmaids to get dressed.

I invite you to view the images from the wedding below.  The sunset pictures were taken from the ferry on the way home.  What a beautiful wedding and sunset!

Another beautiful hike

Last Sunday I did another hike with a couple for their wedding ceremony.  They chose a favorite destination of theirs — Lake 22 in the Mt. Baker National Forest — and brought along some family members and friends to share their very special day.  Unfortunately, it was quite rainy and we only went half way, but I can’t wait to do this hike again in the Summer.  As you can see by the pictures below, it is absolutely beautiful.  My dog Oliver and I took off ahead of everyone else and enjoyed many little streams, waterfalls and rustic bridges along the way.  We all met up at spot the couple had chosen and enjoyed the smells, sounds and beauty of the forest while I married a very happy couple!

I invite you to take a look at our hike to Lake 22 below!
